Nursery
The Nursery Admissions criteria are laid out in the Determined Admissions Policy and admissions are controlled and administered directly by the Governing Body. Application to the Nursery must be made directly to Abbey Primary School and can be made at any time. Children will be admitted after the date of their third birthday. There are 78 places in the Nursery; 39 places in the morning and 39places in the afternoon.
Parents can specify their preferred session on the application form, but please note that the school cannot guarantee your preference.
In the event of the Nursery being over-subscribed, applications for admission will be ranked in the same way as for children applying for Reception (see policy). Children applying for Nursery who are not offered a place will be automatically added to the waiting list which will be reviewed regularly.
